In this second installment of the Dark Divine Novels:
Grace Divine has found herself infected with the werewolf curse. The action begins when she receives a phone call from a stranger warning her that someone is coming for her, and HE cannot be trusted. She suspects it is her brother Jude that has ran off leaving the family in turmoil.
Grace is on a mission to find Jude which leads her to Talbot, a stranger in town. He encourages her to use her powers to become a hound of heaven, in stark contradiction to the advice given to her by her boyfriend Daniel and Brother Gabriel.
The book starts with quite a bit of action and excitement, but slows toward the middle. However, I was very surprised with the ending. I will definitely follow up with the next one.
